GIVEAWAY OFFICIAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Eligibility
Open to legal U.S. residents age 21 or older. Employees, owners, contractors, and immediate family or household members of Lakeside Heritage Resort are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.
2. Giveaway Period & Entry
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. To enter, complete the official Lakeside Heritage Resort Giveaway form using a valid email address. Limit one (1) entry per person and email address.
By entering, participants agree to receive marketing emails from Lakeside Heritage Resort, including resort updates, Northern Michigan inspiration, special offers, promotions, and booking information. Participants may unsubscribe at any time. Unsubscribing after entering will not invalidate an eligible entry.
Existing email subscribers are welcome to enter but must complete the Giveaway form to be included in the drawing.
Incomplete, duplicate, automated, or fraudulent entries may be disqualified.
3. Prize & Redemption
One (1) winner per season will receive a complimentary two-night stay at Lakeside Heritage Resort on Paradise Lake in Carp Lake, Michigan.
The prize includes two (2) consecutive nights in an accommodation selected by Lakeside Heritage Resort based on availability. The stay must be completed by the following calendar year and is subject to availability and blackout dates, which may include holidays, holiday weekends, peak-demand periods, and special events.
The prize covers the standard accommodation rate only. The winner is responsible for transportation, meals, activities, additional nights, upgrades, incidentals, damages, and other expenses. Standard occupancy limits and resort policies apply.
The prize has no cash value and may not be sold, transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for cash. Lakeside Heritage Resort may substitute an accommodation or prize of equal or greater value if necessary. The winner is responsible for any applicable taxes.
4. Winner Selection
One (1) winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received and the potential winner will be notified using the email address provided at entry.
The potential winner must respond within five (14) days. If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond, is ineligible, or declines the prize, Lakeside Heritage Resort may select an alternate winner.
The winner may request preferred stay dates, but all reservations are subject to availability. Once booked, changes and cancellations are subject to the policies provided at the time of booking. Failure to arrive for a confirmed stay will result in forfeiture of the prize.
The prize cannot be combined with other discounts, promotions, credits, or complimentary stays unless approved by Lakeside Heritage Resort.
5. Privacy & Email Communications
Information collected through the Giveaway may be used to administer the Giveaway, contact the winner, fulfill the prize, and send Lakeside Heritage Resort marketing emails. Participants may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with Lakeside Heritage Resort's Privacy Policy and applicable law.
6. General Conditions
Lakeside Heritage Resort reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Giveaway if circumstances beyond its reasonable control affect its fairness, security, or operation, and may disqualify anyone who tampers with or abuses the entry process.
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Lakeside Heritage Resort and its owners, employees, contractors, representatives, and affiliates from claims arising from participation in the Giveaway or acceptance or use of the prize, except where prohibited by law.
Acceptance of the prize permits Lakeside Heritage Resort to announce the winner's first name and general geographic location where permitted by law. Any additional use of the winner's photograph, likeness, or testimonial for marketing will be subject to any consent required by law.
7. Social Media Disclaimer
This Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, Meta, or any other social media platform through which it may be promoted.
8. Governing Law
The Giveaway and these Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Void where prohibited.
